To support a strategic growth plan, we are recruiting a VP of Human Resources who will lead the transformation and alignment of the HR function with the company’s business objectives.
DESCRIPTION
The VP of Human Resources reports to the President and is responsible for strategic workforce planning, implementation of HR technologies, analytics and performance metrics, skills development and performance optimization programs, labor relations, payroll, and overall employee well-being within a multi-site unionized manufacturing environment.
The VP leads a team of five managers who support the leadership teams in implementing programs that drive operational excellence, process standardization, and a culture that fosters human values, transparency, collaboration, belonging, and employee engagement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are bilingual and have solid experience in strategic human resources management within a unionized industrial environment, along with at least five years as a trusted member of the executive and leadership committee.
A unifying and results-driven leader, you are recognized as a skilled change agent capable of aligning HR strategies with business objectives while driving engagement and operational excellence.
Finally, you are a servant-style leader who enjoys staying close to operations, execution, and day-to-day challenges.
