Our client is a successful company that specializes in the development, construction, and management of luxury residential properties in major cities across Canada.
In collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President structures and manages the financial, treasury and accounting activities of the company and its various entities.
Specifically, he or she:
Collaborates with the various members of management (construction, sales, marketing, assets, legal, etc.) to ensure optimal management of the information required for the finance function.
Ensures the management and optimization of the insurance portfolio for projects under construction and stabilized assets.
Monitors the budgets of the various projects, collaborates with the project managers to correct cost variances and guides the strategies to ensure the profitability of each project.
Analyzes capitalization projects, internal rates of return and profitability.
Participates in the development of budgets and financial forecasts for the group.
Prepares reports to financial partners, financial institutions, bonds, and insurance.
Supports the Chief Executive Officer in various projects.
This position is an exciting challenge for a financial management and accounting professional who is recognized as a servant leader and aspires to the position of Chief Financial Officer within a few years. You are a CPA, a skilled communicator (in French and English) with 10-15 years of relevant experience in executive or vice-presidential roles in project-based organizations. As a member of the executive committee, you have been closely involved in guiding strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
