Organizational context

Our client is a leader in the distribution industry, whether in electrical materials, industrial supplies or health and safety equipment. With over a hundred branches across Canada, this company is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support its leadership team.


Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting managers in their recruitment process for all business and service centers across Canada. On average, there are 500 positions to be filled annually, mainly entry level positions.

You will also be called upon to develop and promote new HR tools to improve overall staffing processes.

In sum:

-Assist managers in their hiring process

-Pre-select candidates and conduct telephone interviews

-Answer questions related to the recruitment process

-Manage unsolicited applications and create a database

-Conduct competitive intelligence to identify innovations in the field of recruitment

Candidate profile

You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or the equivalent (CHRP an asset) combined with 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment or headhunting. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of communication and you are perfectly bilingual, as the majority of managers are English-speaking. You are determined, resourceful and autonomous in your daily activities. Knowledge of WorkDay will also be considered an asset.
