Our client, a leader in the field of infection prevention products and services, is looking for its next Director of Operations for its plant in Quebec City employing 250 non-unionized professionals. Present in more than 100 countries, this company has distinguished itself for more than 35 years by the quality of its innovative products.
Reporting to the Vice-President of North American Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for directing all manufacturing, assembly and related operations for the Quebec City plant. He or she will be called upon to lead his or her team towards the achievement of objectives, to ensure that delivery deadlines are met, while respecting the health and safety standards in effect. This person will also have to ensure the continuous improvement process and organizational performance to obtain the expected results.
You have a bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering or equivalent (MBA an asset) combined with more than 10 years of manufacturing experience in a similar role. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a natural ability for communication and a keen analytical mind. You are recognized for your sense of initiative and ability to identify new business opportunities.
