The Société de transport de l’Outaouais is a fast-growing company that aims to offer high-performance sustainable public transit solutions that allow Gatineau residents to get around where they live, work, study, and play.
This new role confirms the importance placed on the operational performance of its employees. The person sought will be responsible for implementing efficient and rigorous work practices and processes for the management team to which the bus drivers report to. In doing so the Associate Director will accompany, support, and coach them in the management and development of the quality of their work. By putting in place performance indicators and the means to achieve the objectives set, the Operations team will consolidate its reputation for excellence and agility.
This role requires strong management skills that are proven in times of change and the ability to create a work environment conducive to mobilization and surpassing expectations.
You are a university graduate with a minimum of 7 years in team management and supervision. Your leadership style is based on collaboration, listening, communication, exchange, and commitment. You have worked in environments where service quality is at the heart of daily life. You are curious, attentive to others and know how to think strategically. For you, success can be measured, and performance indicators are part of your basic tools.
