Our history
In 1993, Jean Métivier founded the recruitment firm to focus solely on executive and management level mandates (C-Suite D-Suite) throughout Quebec. Still serving to this day a client base from the industrial, real estate, construction, service and non-profit sectors, our firm's mission for almost 30 years has been to support companies in achieving their objectives by offering strategic expertise in executive search needs.
In 2013, Sophie Quevillon and Sabrina Curiale, who had already been with the group for several years, were named partners. Five years later, Charles Belle Isle joined the firm, together they form a multigenerational leadership team that shares a passion for understanding and mastering their clients' business models and organizational cultures. They have the complementary skills to help Quebec businesses with their various challenges and specific realities.
In 2015, the firm expanded its service offer to better support its clients by developing a career transition and enhancement program for executives and professionals which focuses on personalized accompaniment.
With the expertise of our complementary team, the firm can now support its clients in their hiring, coaching and development and career transition needs.
In 2020, Metivier Consulting Group created a partnership with Waterstone Human Capital to offer its clients a recruitment strategy throughout Canada and the United States. Thus, we are now able to carry out mandates outside of the Quebec province with the same quality and dedication that has driven us since our creation. We have experts in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and the United States.
Metivier also acts as an ambassador in Quebec for
Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures™ program, thus allowing local businesses to benefit from national recognition.
