Reporting to the Medical Team Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting policyholders with medical problems abroad or following an accident. Since each situation is unique, it requires actions that are adapted to the medical, logistical and financial aspects as well as to the human level.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders: insureds, hospitals and on-site specialists to obtain information on diagnosis and treatment plan
- Make recommendations
- Validate the quality of care provided abroad and, if necessary, arrange for repatriation to the insured’s province of residence
- Respond to the concerns of the insured and their loved ones by bringing your medical expertise and support
This challenge is for a registered nurse (member of OIIQ) who has held positions in environments where speed of decision making was a priority. An experience in medical transport accompaniment would be an undeniable asset. You have an ability to practice your profession without having the patient in front of you. You also understand the corporate issues that force you to make difficult decisions.

Comprehensive training will be offered to make you comfortable with the IT tools, case management methods and companies we represent. With 6 years experience in nursing (DEC, BACC or Master Degree), you are comfortable in an English environment (the knowledge of a third is an asset). A telephone guard on a rotating basis after 6 months in office.
