Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall sound management of the Trois-Rivières division, which counts over 30 unionized employees. The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, production and subsequent site supervision according to best practices while considering risk management and financial profitability. In concrete terms, he is responsible for overseeing the Division’s key operational and logistical activities such as:
- Client service
- Order processing
- Shipping and handling of equipment
- Transport logistics
- Inventory control
- Construction site management
This challenge will be of interest to a construction project management specialist with strong administrative, financial and organizational skills. His talents as a communicator and leadership help to define the priorities that are essential for the realization and delivery of each project. Ideally you are an engineer, OIQ member, or have technical training and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including at least 3 years in a management position; experience or knowledge of the manufacturing process would be an undeniable asset.
