Organizational Context

In a context of growth, our client, a distributor of supplies and furniture for Quebec households, is looking for a Supply and Logistics Advisor.


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the incumbent will be an addition to a team of 3 buyers and will be responsible for the analysis and placement of orders, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating all logistical operations from order until delivery. In concrete terms, the incumbent of this position will:

  • Analyze purchase requests and make recommendations to the Director
  • Ensure a complete and frequent follow-up of the orders starting from the manufacturer until the delivery
  • Maintain the right inventory by promoting healthy communications with sales
  • Preserve the specific terms and conditions of the supplier contracts

Candidate Profile

The ideal profile is that of a university graduate in supply chain management or other relevant program with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply and logistics. Perfectly bilingual you are recognized for your analytical mind, your organization and assiduity, your relationship skills and your sense of initiative. Mastery of ERP systems and experience in a similar position for a distribution company will be considered undeniable assets.
